Got this Argus C3 at the same place I got my Clarus. This one was made in 1956 and is pretty much mint. I'm on something of an American-made 35mm RF kick now. There aren't very many cameras in that category.

Quite a few USA rangefinders, Kodak Ektra, Graflex, B&H, Kardon, Argus, Univex, Perfex, Clarus, Bolsey, Vokar.....any more? There were also several 35mm stereo cameras made in the US....... Stephen.

Had a Graflex 35 but MIK has it now, He'll appreciate it more and longer than I could have. I'm not likely to find a Kardon that I can afford. I actually had one in my hands back in the 1970s when I was in the Army. They were phasing them out, replacing them with Leica M4s (Canadian-built) and Canon F1s. At the time I didn't realize how rare the Kardon was.

Wayne,
You should be able to beat this infection.
Take your six injections of stop bath and twelve of hypo daily.
Stay in a dark room. Recite the f16 rule with every injection.
And wear dark red sunglasses if you must go out.
Jog or jump in place for at least 15 minutes every day to properly agitate the solutions.
You should be all right in a week or two.
You may feel the occasional urge to curl up. A short short swig of print flattener will straighten you up.
My best wishes for a quick recovery.
Mickey
