The dead children. The unbearable anguish of their parents. The traumatic terror of the survivors.
How can dreadful disasters like this be stopped?

I saw a coverage at the TV news today ( was not at home yesterday ). I am totally shocked. I am at loss for words, but I like to express my solitarity with the bereaved.

As the days go by and the media delivers stories of the individual children and families the whole sad episode just gets worse.

There was no excuse or reason for what happened. It just makes no sense to me. They are going to have to lock down schools like prisons. I was shocked to see somebody post this on another forum, I had never heard about this story from 1927. Here is a link to the story...this kind of incedent is nothing new, just another chapter. www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=103186662
