No politics ... just grief. I imagine everyone, by now, has heard what happened in Newtown, Connecticut.

Whatever your belief, please offer a prayer for those children and their families.

I would much rather be talking about pictures and cameras, but I can't get those poor little kids out of my mind.

I saw a coverage at the TV news today ( was not at home yesterday ). I am totally shocked.
I am at loss for words, but I like to express my solitarity with the bereaved.

As the days go by and the media delivers stories of the individual children and families the whole sad episode just gets worse.

I know. I wish there was a way to stop this kind of senselessness, but banning guns won't do it. Ne'er-do-wells who want arms will get them anyway, they'll just pay for them in the black market that will arise.

I'm not really a prayful person, but I pray for those children and their families. I sometimes wish the media would go away, and leave them all alone. I also wish there was something more to do to ease their grief, even though I know there isn't. I pray for all of us ... and sincerely hope there's someone there to hear it.

There was no excuse or reason for what happened. It just makes no sense to me. They are going to have to lock down schools like prisons.

I was shocked to see somebody post this on another forum, I had never heard about this story from 1927. Here is a link to the story...this kind of incedent is nothing new, just another chapter.
