Took my Spotmatic F out last weekend when we were shooting those covered bridges. Out of 24 exposures 24 turned out great as usual. This camera has the best batting average for exposures turned out than any of my other cameras. Big blow to a Minolta Man. Spotmatics are what I started out with in 1967 though. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a chance to scan them.

Hi Randy,
Did you notice the eagle at the time, or when you got the prints back? !
Regards - John

Did you notice the sunburst pattern above the opening? As we walked around and through the Windsor Mills Bridge we could smell the newness of the wood. It looks like pine, but it isn't. The wood has some kind of preservative on it.

Hi Randy, Did you notice the eagle at the time, or when you got the prints back? ! Regards - John I noticed the eagle after I took the picture. I went back to the van to get my 200mm lens but when I returned it was gone. This was taken vertically with my 50mm Super Takamur 1.2 lens using only a skyfilter.

Yes, they do that. How infuriating. It's a great picture anyway - the fact that the leaves have fallen from the surrounding trees and the underbrush give you an outstanding frame without making the picture 'busy'. I really like this one.

Thank You John, it really makes my day getting a compliment like that. I've been taking pictures for a long time and don't get many kudos.

Hi Randy...Yeah, when you don't have a camera, that is when you need a camera & when you got a camera that's when you need a longer lens(or Kodachrome 25, the film that allowed telescoping)! Its like guns. When you don't have a gun is when you need it & when you got a gun is when you need more bullets. ;D ;D We used to have a 200yard covered bridge over the Skykomish River here in Monroe, Washington. Guess it was the longest covered bridge in America at one time. But the railroad company abandoned the line decades ago. As the years went by, one of the support towers was eroded by the river(mostly at flood stages). Last year they had to remove it entirely or the whole bridge would have collapsed into the river. Grace & peace to you, Randy & all readers...litesong
