I've been away with my beloved for a long weekend in the English Lake District, so I've been busy using some of cameras and lenses. Before we left home I managed to load one box with 15 or 16 lenses, a bag with 4 cameras and a few more lenses and a large box of 'stuff' ( cameras and lenses etc ) for a friend who lives up there. I came home with an even bigger box after we'd swopped 'stuff'. And best of all, my wife is still talking to me!

In NL we've got 3 waves of influenza viruses, 2 of those hit me:-(
Just 'back to life' I finished an old Kodakcolor 100 film in a OM1 with gear trouble and fired up a Beautiflex with a 1980 Agfa CNS film - 80 ASA - I wonder if the results are worth the trouble...
That Beautiflex is a copy of the second camera I bought secondhand in 1968. The first being a Beirette (which was a disaster). I traded the Beautiflex for a (then new) Zenit B, which is still in my collection.
Hans.

I've been side tracked by another hobby and haven't done much with photography or camera collecting for awhile. I think I have enough cameras for now but when the nicer weather get here I'll be out taking some snaps. Got side tracked by these. Also these may turn out to be another distraction. Still taking photos though. Bob

Mickey sings this song every morning whilst briming his bristles. Randy, A truly sensitive, inspiring performance but just not my style or genre. My morning ritual is somewhat subdued by comparison. This was filmed without my knowledge so it may be a trifle rough in spots but it always gets my morning off to a great start. Mickey

If I shaved to that, I would have pieces of tissue hanging from my rosey cheeks.

I had been away for some weeks, because of very limited leisure time due to a lot of work at the company and some difficulties just like a pipe burst in the front garden, internet problems lasting several weeks, three root canal treatments at the dentists and so on. I also got side tracked by looking for original French parts for my 1958 Peugeot ( which is not easy if you failed French in school ), which is currently abroad to get a new paint and some body work parts. I will start to assemble the shelves for my camera collection on friday. Yesterday I unpacked the boxes with my photo-books and catalogues :-) I hope I can get my Collection displayed again in the next 3 months.
