Hi all, Browsing through some pics today, and thought you might like to see these. They were taken in Serbia about three weeks after the fighting was stopped in an area patrolled by UK troops . My son John and another church member drove a truck loaded with food and medical supplies out to Serbia for Christian Aid. The little girl is the youngest daughter of the pastor of the Serbian church that was organising local distribution of the supplies. Soon afterwards an earnest young student told me that the UK and US had no right to intervene in the internal affairs of another country. I showed him these pictures, which rather took the wind out of his argument. The pictures were taken with John's Canon F1, film was Agfacolor XRG 200. For a lot of the time the eyes of the little girl John's holding still showed the horror of the fighting she'd witnessed. Picture taken by John's co-driver. But now and again she would relax and forget, as in these pictures John took of her playing with her dog.

That's a touching story Peter. Thank you for sharing it with us. That little girl kind of reminds me of my grandchildren, and I'm glad they are safe and free.
