Wonderfull shots Ron. I've never been to a Civil War re-enactment, and they hold one near by yearly. Guess I'll have to go now.

Yearly is right, Randy. And I sure hope one close to Kalamazoo next year will be on a nice sunny weekend...no rain!!!
There is yet so much of the event that I have been unable to photograph.
The pics were all taken in color print, most likely Fuji Superia and converted to b&w in Photoshop Elements 2. B&W does far more justice to them than color, and of course there was no color back then.

Very nice pics, Ron. I absolutely agree that black and white suits the subject far better than colour which would lose a lot of the atmosphere.
