Cheers. If Salford council is the 'owner' why dont they run a match day bus service say Sale-Salford and Manchester-Salford. It would defo pay for its self. Crap organisation. Edgely Park is easy to get to via train from warrington but Salford aint. Perhaps I'll give this a miss.

There is a free shuttle from the Trafford Centre, but that means getting more involved with the heaviest traffic if coming from the west. With your train comment you have said exactly what many who don't attend have found out. Salford isn't so easy to get to and there are no pubs nearby to help the situation. Sale have appointed a new chairman who does have a name for sorting problems out, so perhaps thing will be better soon. Something has just flown past. Oink, oink.

Did you get yer Altix sorted? Mine works like a charm now, speeds reasonable accurate. I put a film through it a couple of weeks ago. The wind/cocking mechanism leaves a lot to be desired my negs had extremely uneven spacing but fine results with the Tessar attached to it.
