From a local junk shop, a Canon E breech mount lens adaptor, cost only 25p, and has an Exakta reversing ring fitted to the adaptor, but it has very deep issues, the reverse adaptor is made of cast Mazak metal and has corroded in place, rather permanantly. It is turning to aluminium oxide in places, an I think the main thing is to recover the less common, and more expensive item, the Canon Breech lock to Exakta adaptor. The Canon parts are brass, with nickel plate, so has resisted the corrosion, but no amount of twisting or pressure will shift it, so I'll machine the reverse adaptor out in the lathe, hopefully without too much damage to the Canon E adaptor. If the reverse ring comes out, the E adaptor should polish up quite well. Stephen.

Now with the revering adaptor removed in the lathe, no damage to the Canon E Converter, good value at 25p.Just needs a clean and polish, all works fine with Exakta lenses on early Canon breech mount. Stephen.
