Good afternoon all,
I have just signed up. I got into photography around 2 years ago. I found myself picking up older camera and other kit. They might not be worth anything but I like them and learning about them.

A have a a few 35mm. An AFGA sillette type 5 and a haleena 200. I was have a number of canons.

Welcome, John.
Some people collect for monetary reasons.
Others collect because of the fascination they have for these little mechanical gems.
I think the latter reason will provide much more pleasure and satisfaction.
Whatever your reasons, enjoy.

Hello. I just joined. I am a newbie to collecting vintage cameras. I bought a Yashica M-II the other day from an old collector. Yesterday, I found out that he has a Leica IIIF that he is willing to unload. Im hoping to buy it … I just went to the seller, to check out the condition of the camera… It needs CLA, but I need a second opinion whether I buy it or not.

John D, not Loudermilk, I presume ( just testing your 1960s and 1970s music knowledge).
As regards the Leica, if the price is reasonable, and you can afford it, I'd say you should buy it.
