These are from the fourth roll (and second successful one) that I put through my Zorki-4. This is also the roll I used to test my J-12. First one I call Urban Decay. Just over the other side of the wall on the other side of the vacant lot is the main street of the suburb I live in. Those buildings are the backs of the shops in the main street. Second one I call Gear Aquisition Syndrome. Just a fun shot that I originally attempted with one of the unsuccessful rolls. Heath

Heath: I really like these shots. Remind me of many I took years ago...I'll have to dig some of the old negatives out and scan some images to post!

Heath,
Neat and different b&w shots. The first one really comes to life and has more impact having been shot through the wire fence.
In the second, the layout of the word 'gas' surrounded by all those horizontal diamonds is really unique. Was the access port on a wall or in the ground?
Color would have diminished the pictoral effect.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Hr Head (I was going to say Ron H but you are both Ron H), the GAS plate cover was on the ground. In fact it is on a footpath around the corner from my house. We have many of those plates around here.

Yeah Rachel, I could photograph all the different access plates and pit covers that we have around here. Could be interesting.
