This is Poverty Point lake. The price of the lots and houses are way out of my league but I do enjoy photographing sunrise and set. Canonet QL17 GIII Proves you do not need an expensive camera for great photos

This is marvelous! Thanks for sharing it. It's one of those that makes me wish I had taken it! And I agree about the "expensive camera" -- some of my best shots have come from an old Mamiya 35-S rangefinder!

Rick,
Beautiful shot!!! I do not usually prefer it so, but in this case with the way the silouettes are played out I like the midline frame split very much.
I have a Canonet QL17 GIII and find it is a great little camera in all aspects. Of my smaller cameras, it is the one I use the most.

Ron I tried framing it in thirds but it just seemed to lose something in either the sky or water PS I have tried this same shot with digtal and the house was just a black shadow with no detail. When I quit digital and went back to film I had forgotten how much exposure lattitude print film had and usually ended up over exposing
