I was rummaging around in my odds and ends, and found an M42 to K-Mount adapter. I had taken the spring out some time ago. So I put it on an old f2.5 135mm Super MultiCoated Takumar. And then mounted it on my Pentax K-01. Shot wide open on manual mode at 1/30.

You're doomed...... Now you'll be searching for old Takumars wherever they might be. And it's a search worth doing, I think the old Tak's are some of the finest glass you can find, and the Pentax DSLR's are just such a great camera for using them; although I must admit that the Sony NEX is another great option. I went to visit my brother in Canada last month and in the end, after much deliberation, I just took the NEX and a bunch of Takumars, I didn't even take the AF kit lens for the NEX. Was I happy with the pictures? you bet I was! There's something about the Tak's I like, and whatever it is I like it a lot.
