OK. I printed out "Creating a New Thread" I'll study it and when I feel I probably wont destroy anything I'll give it a try. Hmmm. A good portion is about polls. I wonder when our next elections will be held. Back to me homework. Mickey Okay. I gave it my best try. I read and reread the instructions. I then put my knowledge to work. DEAD END. Over and over again - DEAD ENDS. I tried going in the back door. What I came up with and how I got there I do not know. But it is NOT a thread. Perhaps it could be called a fibre. I shall have to leave threads to electronic geniuses and seamstresses. My efforts appear (twice) under the "Medium and Other Formats" thread in the sub title "Antique Cameras" which is not an appropriate title as it is too restrictive. I just don't get electronics. I was perfectly good with a hammer. I even figured out by myself out which end of the nail to hit. It is tomorrow already. 12:34am. I must get some sleep. G'nite. Mickey

S.O.S., Mayday., ... --- ... . I need help. I am afraid to experiment further lest I bring about a total collapse of this site. Does "Oddities" have possibilities of arousing interest or must it die an ignominious, anonymous death in the wrong location? Can what I posted be put into its own thread and be a start of some fun postings? Mickey ? ?

I no longer need help. Somehow I have managed to bungle and bumble and fumble my way on my own. Mickey

Hello everyone, This is Mustafa. Im new here.
My neighbor used to work for newspaper here in Nebraska. HE had a garage sale efore he was moving out of state. Went there and wanted me to buy the cardboard box with full of canon, Topcon and Vivitar cameras&lenses. They look like antique but in very good shape. I bought the items.
I was wondering if I can post some pictures of the item here could anyone tell me what they are? Maybe if they are worth anything? Thanks.
