I just wrote a commit saying that I paid nothing for my Minolta SRT-SC-II. I thought I was braging a little so I erased it and started over. Even though I paid no money for the camera , I really like this camera and it has a lot of vaule to me. It does not matter how much you got the camera for or the money value of it. When you use your SLR camera from 35-55 years ago , does it have a lot of value to you?

Best way to get a camera...for free ..or very little, as film is so little appreciated now, you are likely to get real bargains, as long as the condition is OK, and most top makers products are just as good now as when they were made. Most older lenses still out perform modern designs, where cost cutting plagues the quality supplied. Stephen.

Thank you for Stephen for writing me back. What makes my Minolta SRT SC-II so valuble to me. I always enjoyed film cameras. I enjoy the process of learning a manual camera. Shooting film is just more fun than digital to me. Most of us think our old cameras are valuble in some way. It's the look , feel ,and the fuction of these cameras we vaule the most. It is ok to have a modern digital camera but some of us want to keep a film camera or get a film camera we always wanted. To me it's something I can't let go of. Dennis
