I saw something very similar to my Super Ikonta there. They must have been very expensive at the time. Best of all is the detailed list of variants of shutter and lenses for each type.

I have "access" to a Contax manual, dating from the early 1940s. It's a bit of a mess having been under water for 41 years. Here's the photo, which was Z for Zeiss on page 57 of the competition thread: A link to U-534

Hansz, I'm not sure why the link isn't working. When I copy and paste the URL to the internet command bar it works fine, but it doesn't seem to work as a link. It certainly finds wiki, but that then says the page doesn't exist. I haven't time to try to sort it out at the moment but the actual URL is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_submarine_U-534If that sill doesn't get you there just google U534. Dave. p.s.
