Fascinating bridge Bill,
I love trams - we have them (again) here in Manchester, and in Blackpool (where they've never been away). Take it that's why the bridge has the roof across it? Is it a swing or rising bridge? I see the time is clearly shown on the clock - Quarter to and past three at the same time. Only joking - presumably you see the time from your side of the clock.
A very nice photograph - thanks for posting it.
Regards - John

Bill,
nice to see that you still have your trams. Interesting bridge as well. What's the history of the inscription?
John I haven't been to Manchester but I've seen the new trams in Sheffield.

To answer your questions, the bridge is fixed, the trams (The Red Rockets) will always be running, I prefer the old PCC trolleys. There will be armed insurection if they ever go out of service and the inscription is a part of an art installation. Leslieville (the neighbourhood) used to be quite seedy but has been in the process of gentrificiation over the last few years. Great fodder for pictures.
