An old standard zoom from the film days. I use it on my R4s when shooting film, a good lens, close focus 1:2.8. Here two quick images on digital, all wide open f3.5. It was too much wind to stop down the lens. The setup 100% crop 100% crop It looks promising, fairly sharp wide open. I expect better performance stopped down. The close focus range is most useful, almost macro on digital when the focal length doubles. Bokeh not bad either. A bit heavy lens, nice on R4s, not when holding a small digital camera.

Very nice. It seems similar to my Tamron 28-50mm which is the "walk-around" lens on my D40.

That's a great lens, very under rated.
