Hello everybody,
I am searching for help with my Minolta camera. The problem is that the shutter window is locked and i cant wind it up anymore. I try the reset with the little button in the battery case but it didn't work. Battery works.
Is there some one that experienced the same problem or any suggestions.
Greetings
Roy (the Netherlands)

You could open the bottom cover, look for some lever may be stuck inside. Then, when operating the camera you may see where the obstruction is.

Thanks Truls, I couldn't find yet wat it is that locks the camera. The inside of a camera is not one of the thing i know allot about. Do you know if there is a site with service manuals for this camera?

It could be electrical or manual problem, first change the battery and clean up the contacts in the battery compartment. The re-set should cure most problems, in theory.
With the shutter, push in the rewind, and whilst held in, ease the transport forwards, then release the re-wind, it may clear a jam. Try easing the sprocketed shaft forwards and backwards, moving the camera release, and, or, the wind on lever. Check the mirror as not jammed up, or not returned to normal position.
Also, and it is up to you, firmly hold the camera top and hit the bottom in an upwards position, quite sharply with the palm of the hand, but this is a last resort, but I assure you a repairer would do this first. Do not hit hard, or bang on a table! It is merely to free up slight jams by giving it a jolt.
