Hi Jonathan, welcome to the forum. I don't think we have many collectors of 'Holga' style cameras. But there are a lot of them about.
Although looked down upon by many, these plastic cameras and their users are one of the reasons why you can still get film - particularly black & white and its processing chemicals.
Of course older compacts, particularly the quirky ones now come lumped under Lomography. Please tell more about your Minoltas.
Phil

Hello Jonathan, and welcome! I also like Minoltas, most old types like SR1 and the af-type Maxxum's.

Welcome Jonathan from New Zealand. I also like various cameras as well, and have a soft spot for Minoltas. Where in NZ are you from if you don't mind my asking?

Phil you bring up a great point. No one should ever look down on a particular camera genre. Film is film. Whatever strengthens our collective hobby should be enthusiastically supported by all. Welcome aboard Jonathan!

Hi Jonathan and welcome to the best little forum on the web. The Holgas are wonderful and play a big part in the story of photography. One of my very favorite cameras is the often ignored and frequently maligned Instamatic 100 kit. A camera that played a similar role in the popularisation of modern photography.
