Perhaps, but someone like us is going to get it and use it, keeping film photography alive. Put in the right marketplace he'd get a helluva lot more money for that.

Some go, some come. I got this for free last winter. I plan to finish my darkroom soon.   I would not know the statement of film photography, as I will become a good customer at fomafoto. I look forward to create my own enlargements, as I did many years ago. |

I got a Durst enlarger, similar to this one, free. Came to use it a few weeks ago and the power supply had burned out.

In the last two years i've got for free a viviitar light pipe enalrger, two durst 6x6 and 6x9 color high end enlargers with lenses and timers, the past week another enlarger came along, its a phillips, like new in the original box with the dedicated color analyser/ control unit. If they keep coming up lijke that i'll be running out of space very soon, in the mean time i just couldn't resist such fine equipement that otherwise would have been trashed. Anyway enlargers seem to have lost any value and many of the them will now end up as landfill if no one cares to give them a good home. (4x5" enlargers still seem to be worth something but for how long?)  |

I see very few at the Wolverhampton camera fair anymore, even last year there would be a few on sale. But the last few fairs there's been none. I've been looking for a cheap tall one to hack into a copy stand, there's been nothing.

My Durst power supply was kaput, the condenser/diffuser was missing so I took it apart and its going to be the body and focusing mechanism of my new camera MK2 |
