Very pleased with this camera. Have some more lenses (and a 200AF) on the way. Had a bid on a CZJ zoom for it, but that went for Contax prices. Excuse the scans - this machine doesn't like black Also have an HP5370C on the way. The first two were taken on a misty day. Unfortunately the mist effect wasn't as pronounced as I'd hoped. Ponsonby Church (1) Ponsonby Church (2) Water Tower at Dawn Actually, the last is also a pumping station. Regards - John

Wow, very nice John! Here every place I turn there are electric wires, cable TV wires, telephone lines, and poles. We have some nice old historic buildings here in my town including an octagon house. But you can't take an unspoiled picture so I don't bother.

Not old these two Randy - about 1850 or so. A mile or so from the church there is another (St Bridgets) whose walls go back to around 1250. No longer used, and it's just sad - everything is mildewed. Many of the churches were razed to the ground by the Victorians, who built modern 'improved' churches. On the other hand, generally in the poorer parishes, they are exactly as they were three hundred years ago.
That's a project - will get some pics of the older ones around here when the nights draw out a bit.
Regards - John
