Taken two weeks ago at Balzac's coffee House, Distillery District, Toronto. Canon Canonet QL17 GIII with Ilford HP5. Best coffee I ever had in a long time.

I love that shot by the window in the coffee house, and how all attention seems to be concentrated on the shadowy figures with the newspaper!

Wow - what a viewpoint for the first one. Presume it was some sort of a balcony? The lady gazing up to the ceiing seems to draw the eye, and the young girl behind the bar seems to be dreaming of closing time.
The second is very nice indeed. I bet the bald-headed guy loves his mother, and runs a cats home, but he gives the picture a very sinister appearance.
Regards - John

I think the bald guy is in insurance:). I took the top photo from a staircase leading up to the second level, it was one of those days I wish I had a 35mm widangle and my Leica.
