Hi, my name is Cole. I have accessed this forum before as a non member, but was so impressed by the plethora of knowledge and good feelings that I decided to join. I am a Minolta enthusiast, have been since 1974. I got out of film for quite a while but have gotten back into it again as there is nothing like it. Currently I have been building up a collection of working and non working cameras, from SRT 100 through 202, 2 XD11's , and x7A and 2 XGMs. I bought a few "parts " cameras that all they needed was a good cleaning , and a few that were DOA but had parts to fix the small things on others. I hope to be able to learn and contribute to this forum. Good to be here.

Hi Cole, Nice to see you here, new members are always welcome. While my cameras tend to be mainly Pentax related I do like manual Minoltas too. Holding a Minolta clone as we speak, a Pearl River S-201. Uses MD mount lenses. Anyhow, I'm sure you'll like it here and glad you found us.

Welcome Cole,
I have a small collection of about 12 Minoltas.
The SR2 was my first experience with a brilliant, grainless viewfinder after years with an Exakta VX IIa.
You will find this a great place to indulge your hobby and it is full of special people.

Hello Coleman! Fun to have another film-enthusiast like myself. I shoot mostly BW, and develop/print on my own. Sometimes I send some color film to be developed. Yes, Minoltas are super cameras, handsome also.

Welcome also. I love the XD11s and their slightly little brother, XD5s one of which I bought new when they first came out. The problem for me is that it is so easy to pick up the digital that I often seem to forget the great film cameras. I have tried to resolve that by using digital when we fly somewhere, and film every place else.
