Hi, the Dynax 404 si as it is known in the UK is a fully electronic autofocus camera. A great camera and very advanced in its day. I wonder if according to the title you are having problems with it. If this is the case, because it is fully electronic It is doubtful you can repair it yourself and it could cost many times its value to repair - if you could find someone who can do this. It could also be the battery do not make contact, to power up camera? I have some of those old Minolta AF cameras, two of them I had to lift up the battery metal a bit.
