Shot this in September 2013. The ruins of this old church are located on the Sheksna River (I think) near the point where it exits Lake Beloye, about 15 miles from Goritzy. This is on the water route linking Moscow and St. Petersburg. I'm guessing in the old days the river wasn't as high as it is now because this seems like like it wouldn't be that great a place for a church. Shot with a Fuji Finepix F600 EXR point and shoot. A shot taken soon after the ruins image on Lake Beloye. I think the ship is a natural gas carrier.

I looked through a big box of Zorkis, Kievs and FEDs in a second hand store in Goritzy. The owner offered to make me a real deal but I told him the ones I had at home were better than the ones he had.
