As many of us have old and valuable cameras of different types, some working, some not. If a camera is dear to oneself the question of a full CLA could become vital. My experience, there are less knowledgeable People today than in the film camera days. If someone know who is doing CLA on different camera brands, it could be easy to find where to send a camera - if we create a list.
I know of these camera service men: Russian cameras and older Leica: (http://okvintagecamera.com/repair.html) Pentax film camera: (http://pentaxs.com/) Canon AE-series: (ebay user "looscanons")
Hope others of you can supply this list With other camera service shops. If some of you knowledgeable members can do it for a regular fee, that would have been great. May be this thread should have been moved to the right sub-forum?
I sent my Zorki 6 to OKvintagecameras, came back as New. Also I had a CLA on my Pentax H3, it's like New in function. I will later send a Canon AE-1 for CLA. Now, I am searching for someone who can do old Minoltas. Anyone?
