Never heard of the Nines (you've got me worried now that maybe I should have done!)

I have known the lead singer of the Nines for about 16 years now. We met at University and been friends since. The Band actually has a new album out soon and they collaberated with Andy Partridge of XTC fame on some of the songwriting. They can be seen at ninespop.com Bill |

Hey thar Uncle Bill,
IMHO these shots are great!!!
What strikes me the most about them is that the main subject stands out so well while the background fades into nothing.
And in B&W...Ooo, Oooo...fantastic!!! I take it these were made at a concert.

Yes Ron, they were taken at the illustrious Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. The stage has seen the likes of the Rolling Stones, the Police and zillions of honky tonk and punk rock outfits over the decades. Fun venue for shooting if the film is fast enough.
