I was browsing a clear out showcase at John Lewis and saw a Samsung NX1000 in white with an additional 24mm equ f2.8 pancake lens. Now I had a 24mm for Minolta SRT, but a 24 for the Sony system is quite expensive for occasional usage. So, I lashed out £150 for this ex dem 24mm camera with free mini zoom and was quite delighted to find that the camera corrects the distortion I knew from the SRT days. Cheaper than a new lens-and compact as well!! Daft, maybe, but it works for me.

A great buy. Modern wides are better then older ones in my opinion. The camera is likely to have a correction facility built in. It knows which lens is attached and will correct accordingly.
