Three recent plastic cameras added to the collection.

Sawyer's Nomad 620 (1957-1963) With box and bulbs

Ansco Panda; (1939-1950) Considered as a child's toy camera.

I've noticed that all three cameras are made of a different type of plastic. The Nomad I believe is made of bakelite, the Trolix is made of trolite and the Panda is made of polystyrene. Kind of interesting.
 
Have been busy lately, but will post more cameras from the collection soon.

Only a passing comment, the Trolite plastic is the basically the same as Bakelite, but Bakelite came in many different forms, it was very closely patented, and Agfa and others in Germany used an IB Faren licensed version of Bakelite. However it is not a 'filled cloth' version, and is a bit delicate, especially with aging. It can flake a bit on delicate edges, but the Agfa design has rounded edges perhaps for this reason.
If the Bakelite is scufffed or gone matt, it can be revived with the special polishes meant for cleaning and restoring Bakelite phone bodies.

No collection is complete without a Panda and a Nomad. Don't have a Trolix yet though.

Not too sure if I have done the right thing or not. Found two Diana 151's for 120 film in original boxes, with instructions - made in Macau, they appear to be quite old but not used much if at all. Paid £4 each for them in a car boot sale. I know that people like them, but the ones that I have seen before were made in Hong Kong. Any comments (polite ones!) ?
