I've started to collect M42 primes for my digital Pentax cameras. Every one I get impresses me. I think I've gotten GAS for the first time.

Thank you kindly, Sir. I'll give it a look. I was hoping there might be a 12 step program or something...

When you start scheduling your life around ebay auctions, that's when you know you have it bad.

After years of collecting i came to the point where i thought my collection was complete and there was little more i needed. Still cameras kept coming my way and the collection reached it critical mass ( the point where you're no longer able to display everything and start putting things in boxes) Last month i told myselve enough's enough no more cameras. Here's the result of one month of not collecting. These are al items i've picked up in my neigbourhood as i refused to buy from foreign countries anymore (rule number one) still stuff keeps coming my way and who am i to refuse if a "good" friend offers me one for free or there's a nice set in the thrift store for next to no money? I think once you're bitten by the g.a.s. there's no way back, yes you'll have periods when things seem to be under control, but the right camera at the wrong time can make things worse than ever before.
