Before the magnificent 7 of the seventies there where the magnificent six of the (early)sixties. Though i must add there wasn't much to choose from in pro level 35mm slr's in the sixties, i guess only the nikon F would pass if you wanted motor drive, interchangable viewfinders, a large choise in lenses,TTL metering, auto diafragm,.... BTW. the real early sixties slr's seem to be harder and harder to find, the F in the picture is a '62 unit and that was as early as i could get without breaking the bank.
