While AF in macro is pretty useless this "old" manual micro nikkor 200 does a fine job. The focussing distance at half life size is 72 cm wich is a confortable distance when you don't want your subjects to get scared or maybe sting you. The IF mechanism keeps the lens at the same size nomatter what subject to camera distance, wich in my opinion is very handy . The filter size is only 52mm (like most nikkors ) and helps a lot in finding suitable filters at reasonable prices.
