Now you know that my English is really poor. I beg your pardon. Married, two children, 41 old cameras and when I dream, it is always in black and white. 67 old, in my second life I shall try color films. Member of Sylvain Halgand website. Best regards. Michel

It is always a great pleasure to meet collectors like you. As the list is long enough, you can see my cameras here. If you need information about one of them, it will be with a great pleasure.

Bonjour, Dormeur74, You have a very impressive collection, indeed. My very first collectable camera was a New Cosaque Senior, a 9x12 cm Falling Plate Detective camera made in1898(?) by brothers A. & J. Pipon of Paris. It was in sad shaped and was quite a challenge. Mickey

My wife is more impressive than my collection, because she has accepted my cameras and their dust since long. I find your New Cosaque Senior very beautiful. Not easy to find Pipon's brothers cameras at present. You are a happy man.

Aren't we lucky if our partners (be it man or wife) indulge our hobby, even if it get's out of hand and (spare) rooms in the house fall victim to our collection craze? Bien a vous, François

Many thanks to all for your friendly welcome words. Very interesting topics on this forum. Randy, if you decide to visit France, never use our trains. They never start and when they start, they never arrive.
