Hello: I could not find any posts about the Pentax Stereo Adapter and Viewer in this forum. Is nobody using/collecting these things? Let me show you my early version, which is in a really nice condition. It has the clamp on mount with fixing screw made for the f1,8/55mm or the f1,4/50mm lens. The later version had a m49 or m52 adapter ring which goes into the filter thread of the lens . Making photos from this adapter was a good time to take out the Pentax SP1000 too. Lets start after putting it on the table: ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/8/7576/27591609096_76d2ff4654_b.jpg) And now start unpacking: ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/8/7312/27591608816_753be6d311_b.jpg) Ready to mount it: ![](https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7327/27552404441_54904baafc_b.jpg) Ready for the first shot: ![](https://c7.staticflickr.com/8/7455/27591607486_32d1ebecee_b.jpg) A beautiful combination: ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/8/7625/27348030160_1252b39696_b.jpg) But it also looks good on the black OM-2: ![](https://c1.staticflickr.com/8/7340/27591606696_12b8837f8e_b.jpg) Hard decision, which camera should I use: Pentax, Olympus or the MD-7 with the 45mm f2 lens? Any experiences from somebody out here, especially with shorter lenses, 35mm or 28mm? Hannes

Brian May uses one of these, click on this link for some classic Queen photos taken with this setup on a Pentax ESII London Stereoscopic Company
