It is with great sadness that I inform you all that our founder, Randy
Has passed on. From what I understand we lost him Friday night the 10th of March.
R.I.P. Randy.....we all loved you and will miss you greatly.....

Randy will be sorely missed.
His knowledge, talent, intelligence and gentle humor were an essential part of
The Camera Collector.

I'm just back from holiday. News like this does put some perspective on things. Randy wasn't young but neither was he old by today's standards. While he occasionally spoke of his health problems, his passing still comes as a shock.
My condolences to his family.

Diabetes killed Randy despite his long and valiant and often painful battle.
Could we not have an annual memorial fund named after him in which we collect a donation to his local or any Diabetes research organization?
He did so much for us. Let us show our gratitude.
