The flash unit that came with the Konica III camera was a Konshiroku Koniflash III. It has a 22.5v battery (which you can still purchase) and a 22.5v electrolytic capacitor. The capacitor is shot so want to know if any one has every replaced the original cap with a current electrolytic? If so what was the capacitor value and voltage range?
Is there any information on the capacitor rating anywhere on the net?
Thanks

Thanks for the link. The cap does not have a stated value other than the working voltage. If you happen to stumble across a thread on this particular flash repair please pass it along. Thank you.

One of the replies on the thread has this capacitor value." I recall that I used about 50 uF-100uF rated at 20V but quite suitable when triggering at 12V."

Get the largest capacitor (the most uF) that you can fit in the space. Should be about 100 uF, but you cannot err if you go to a larger one.
