Mostly the black version of a camera is more difficult to find (or more expensive) than it's chrome counterpart. Not so With the Pentax ES where it is the other way round. Still i finally found one to further complete my black and chrome pentax collection.  |

A new acquisition. Asahi Pentax Spotmatic SP 11 with Takumar 50mm f1.4 lens in good working condition. £10.

I've seen a few around here, and own a black ES-II. Have yet to run across a brushed chrome finish. Nice grab!

Just found a black canon AE-1 to join the chrome one. Got carried away in a bid war and paid to much for it, the 50mm 1:1.4 SSC that could have justified the price i paid, is in such bad shape that it can't save the day.I'll have to find confort in the idea one of the "holes" in my collection is now filled.  |
