Welcome to the forum Steven. We do have some other Australian members but you may have to be patient until they reveal themselves.

I STILL have a pile of Nikons. Considering starting a collection of Ricoh SLRs and RFs.

My family is from "the South" (Louisiana). Does that count? :-)

chilla,
I live in Toronto, Canada, SOUTHERN Ontario. It's not too far from Australia.
Come and visit us. You can stay at my house. You will feel quite lightheaded when you don't have to walk upside down. No kangaroos here but we do have some attractive green and gold little frogs that can hop a considerable distance. Our opossums are marsupials. They are not dangerous. In self defense they play dead. I am sure you will find many similarities to keep you from feeling homesick.
Welcome,
Mickey
