I saw a Miranda Sensorex 2 with Miranda 50mm f 1.8 lens on ebay a few days ago, with ERC and original manual. It was shown with a 'spare' Rollei Planar 50mm lens and a small box with 'Vivitar' written on it.
I bought the lot as a gamble because it wasn't described very well. £30.
The camera arrived, on first inspection it seems good+. Serial 8335224. To my surprise the Vivitar box contained a Miranda VFE 1 waist level finder in very good order - bonus. The Rollei lens looks ok optically but has no bayonet! Having had a good look at the camera and a preliminary clean, it is in very good cosmetic condition, no dents at all, the pentaprism removes smoothly, the shutter speeds seem fine and the lens is clean. The exposure meter needle in the viewfinder does not move and the other follow needle is missing. Inside the screen is a bit dusty. That is not too much of a problem considering all the good bits. The sturdiness and durable finish of the camera remind me of the early Konica and Nikon SLR. If anyone wants a Rollei 50mm lens for spares, it is on ebay now!
Rollei lens now sold!

I always liked the Mirandas, good, solid and utterly reliable. I imaging the meter doesn't work now though
