Well not "my" little town but a little town all the same. Because of corona travel restrictios we took a few days vacation in our own country. The place we visited was Durbuy "the smallest village" in Belgium.
It's a popular destination for short holidays or day trips. The main thing to do are walks in the surrounding nature, kayaking on the Ourthe river and enjoying the local food and drinks.
The charming narrow streets with lots of restaurants ranging from take away pizza to michelin guide restaurants all whithin a short walking distance.
The local Belgium fries (not to be confused with french fries)A bit further up the alley another Belgium speciality "waffels".
A well known and a local beer (one of the best trippels i've ever tasted (took some home as a souvenir)
We didn't make it to the chocolat store, but that's not such a problem as they are abundant all over the country.
