This rather rare Rollop 1 just came in. The odd thing about it is that it is capable of handeling 6x6, 4x4 and 135 format films. Apart from that it's a fairly plain TLR. It has a Taking lens:Enna Ennagon 1:3.5 f=7.5cm (75mm on late cameras), Coated. Viewing lens: Enna Sucher (=viewfinder) or Ennagon 1:3.5 f=7.5cm (75mm on late cameras). It was made by the German Lipca company between 1954 to 1962, but only the late (1961 onwards) were capable of handeling the 3 film formats. There was also the Rollop II wich was basically a "1" but with crank film wind and another much more sophisticated Rollop Automatic wich i hope to find someday... I've bought this Rollop rather cheap and i noticed the few ones available in Europe were significantly cheaper then the ones available in the US a strange thing as with Yashica TLR's the situation seems to be the opposite (supply and demand?). ![](https://i.ibb.co/R4p46dG/DSC-8432.jpg) ![](https://i.ibb.co/bmd2scw/DSC-8434.jpg) ![](https://i.ibb.co/MDzvwHW/DSC-8431.jpg)

That looks good and obviously rare. My Rollop is a Richard Reflex, basically a standard Rollop sold by a distributor or shop in Switzerland. I bought this one from a Polish seller because it has my christian name on the front.

A recent, unexpected find has introduced me to the history of Lipca and Rollop, although I’m yet to work out the variations in features for the different models. Can the model and year of manufacture be deduced from the serial number (#68023) Is there a publicly available database? With thanks for any guidance to a novice.
