I have just purchased a Miranda Sensomat RS with 50mm f 1.8 lens off ebay. I had just lost a Miranda with an f1.4 50mm lens by not bidding high enough but this came along and I put a modest first bid on it.
Apparently it is a stripped down Sensomat RE and is quite rare and it has been difficult to find many details. Bought as a non-operating unit but externally looks quite good. So quite happy. Will report further when it arrives. I now have a Miranda FV, a Miranda Sensorex 2 MC?, a Soligor TM and a spare pentaprism & two waist level viewfinders.

In case you want some reference here's my Sensomat, sensomat RE and sensomat RS. Miranda's are nice camera's to collect they can often be found at very reasonable prices (exept for the pre-1960 ones).

Thank you for the information. The Miranda Sensomat RS arrived today by courier. I have checked it over and it looks as if it just came out of the factory. Lens clean, viewfinder clean, no knocks at all. The only defect I can find is a very slight ripple in one of the shutter blinds. I am delighted with it.

I recently bid for and won a Miranda Sensomat RE with a 50mm f 1.8 Miranda lens plus a Soligor 28mm f2.8 lens to fit, waist level viewfinder and a separate flash bracket all in extremely good, clean condition, the exposure meter works as well. Good value at £45
Just arrived through the post, two manuals for the Sensomat - seller found them in his loft. What a great bloke.
