I have a 1937 90mm f1:4 ELMAR that appears to have light coating. I know that LEITZ did not coat lenses at that time. I have inspected it days with heavily overcast skies to eliminate reflecting blue sky. Could it have been coated at a later date or possibly it is bloomed? I don't know if LEITZ glass of that era will develop bloom.

Mine is a much later version and doesnt have a blue coating. I think coating was a service offered by Leitz at one time
