Hi Bob
They all look a little dark - battery conversion problems? I've a couple of older cameras (one has supposedly got a bridge circuit that should make it immune) , that work perfectly when I apply compensation. In theory, you should just change the film speed setting to a lower ASA speed, but I've had better results by using a different 'correct' reference point on the meter scale.
Of course the meter may not need a battery (don't know too much about Petris), but in that case the meter compensation method shoud still work, or of course they could have been taken at dusk.
Like the metal cow though... - one of the prettier kind!!
Regards - John

John and Randy.....
yes Randy is correct.......the Petri 7S rangefinder does not have a battery.......and the selenium meter works.......I just did not use it. I find myself hardly ever trusting any meter....I finally trust the light meter in my head.........so those photos were taken using what is my standard......bright sunlight, in my part of the world, with my Fuji 100 asa film, and 1/250th S.S. and F8. And if my subject is in total shade then all else being the same and the aperture is F4. It works beautifully for me. but, Everyone needs to find their own standard...depending upon where they are and what film they use. But once you have your standard...and know how to adjust to different light.....you are FREE!!!!! You are not dependent on a battery and a light meter...and trust me...it is a very good feeling. And John, the backround may be dark but the flowers ain't. ;D
be well......have fun Bob

Ron Kamera Well the flower photos are our back yard, but not the cow photos---LOL. We are kinda in the country....in this regard....in the summer....we have no visible neighbors....and in the winter with the foliage gone....if you strain your eyes there is one neighbor's house visible. I kid Sherri that it is like the old TV show called "Green Acres". ;D But there are some drawbacks, like.....no cable, no DSL and no cell phone service while at home. Now, Ron, tell that bull they can get to know each other on E-harmonycow.com ;D be well....have fun Bob
