I recently bought a 1937 BESSA and loaded it with KODAK TRI-X. When I advanced the film no numbers appeared through the red windows. Are KODAK'S numbers spaced differently from ILFORD?

Hi, I have had similar problems, the spacing is exactly the same but the Kodak numbers are extremely faint and impossible to see through the red window. I only use Kodak in a camera with no red window,
I suggest you try to rewind the film back onto the spool.

It was a roll that I use to test cameras with. The numbers do not line up properly in the BESSA due to it's red windows being closer to the center. I loaded it in an AGFA BILLY COMPUR and the numbers do appear in it's red windows. I will have to remember to use FOMA film in the BESSA.
