This Rolleicord and Canon Pellix just arrived today in the mail. Bought them on ebay from the same seller. They are in very good condition and are one of those rare occasions when they are in better shape than could be expected from the pictures made by the seller. More on these two in the appropriate topics...

Forgive me if I'm being to brutal and inquisitive with this, but a TLR in a decent condition, what would be a fair price?

Forgive me if I'm being to brutal and inquisitive with this, but a TLR in a decent condition, what would be a fair price? No problem for asking, this is why fora are here do discuss, educate and help fellow collectors. Problem is there isn't a simple awnser to your question, TLR prices range from a low 30 to high 2000€+ depending on make or model. Still, i've paid 75€ for the rolleicord wich is, considdering it's condition, a very fair price as they normally fetch something between 120 to 200€ I love mamiya TLR's (C series) a fair price for any C ( C220-C3-C33-C330) with the standard 80mm 2.8 would be around 200€ and say a Rolleiflex with planar 2.8 lenses woul be fair at around 700€ but these are rough estimates. Depending on wich part of the world you live these prices could be higher or lower (not much though) Yashica TLR's used to be good value for money but they've fallen victim to their popularity and you'll probably end up paying to much for what they are really worth, exept if you could find one from someone willing to sell it at a reasonable price, there still are a lot of them around. About any TLR do check the exact model though as there are huge price diffrences depending on wich version or type your looking at. Try to decide wich one would suit you best, model and price wise and then follow some (ebay, catawiki....) auctions to get an idea what prices are currently paid for a specific model.
