I have an Exakta RTL 1000 which does not reset the aperture pin or release the mirror when winding on. It fires on completion of winding on. If the aperture bar is manually reset and the mirror release manually tripped it will wind on and fire normally but then not reset. Shutter speeds are accurate.
Can anyone give me an idea where to look to see what is wrong or provide a copy of the service manual

Unfortunately the don't include the Exakta RTL 1000. I may have sourced a copy on ebay - it's in German though!

I know, I was aware of it before asking. It is not detailed enough on the release mechanism unfortunately. Good news is I have sourced a digital copy of an original Dresden service manual for the camera. Unfortunately it is in German, but as I live in Germany and am learning German it should work out. I will probably translate it to English for future use.
now I only have the Kiev 4 to fix, the wind on spool clutch is missing a spring! I have an original service manual for that too, it's in Russian! I am working on a translation of that too!
