This Voigtländer VSL 1 arrived in the post today, it came with the Color Ultron 50/1.8 and Color Dynarex 135/4 lenses. It's a good looking camera and would have been a bargain if only the shutterspeeds were correct (wich they are not) and the diafragm on the 135 would have worked. This set is made in Singapore and sadly it lives up to the bad reputation of Singapore made Voigtlanders (and Rollei's). Next thing is the lenses are rather useless unless i would buy yet another adapter as they've got the QBM bayonet mount exlusive to Voigtländer and Rollei of that era. Operation of the VSL1 isn't all that good as the film transport throw is about one of the longest (and not smoothest) on any camera i've tested only the finder can be complimented as it got a good and bright ground glass with a double wedge at 45° and a microprism collar, it has rounded corners (like in a Zenit), a feature i don't like. So i'm not gonna waste any more time on this set, the 135 will go in the parts bin and the VSL1 will get a place on the shelve next to the Rolleis.

Good looking camera, probably needs a lot of work. Obviously not like classic Voigtlanders, which are the smoothest cameras I have used.

I had a very nice German made Rolleiflex SL35 which was perfect in every way. Then I bought a succession of Singapore made ones cheaply, every one had a major fault with the shutter or wind-on or mirror. When I compared the mechanical parts in the base they were completely different, there is a photo on this site comparing them. The lenses were ok.
