Congratulations. The Flektogon is a very good lens, do not know about the Biometar. Waiting for your pictures and further comments!

I have had a good close look at the Exa, I do not think that it has ever had a film in it or through it. I took the Biometar out today fitted to my Sony a7 with an adapter. I tried it on some garden flowers but it was very windy. Wound the shutter speed and ISO up and it was good, rather spoiled by a very tight focus ring. I thought that it might free up with some use, but not yet. I will try the Flektogon out later this week.....

Some of the Exas do not work well with telephoto lenses, the shutter makes a shadow in the upper part of the frame. No problem in your Sony. Like this:

I decided to send the Biometar off to a known camera repairer to get the focus sorted out. Should be worth it because the lens (and the Flektogon) are some of the cleanest that I have seen for their age.
I sold the Flektogon for a good price. If I cannot get a decent return on the Biometar now it is back with me I am going to keep it and use it.
Now ordered an Exakta Varex 11b with a Domiplan..
