der84, The Argus and the Universal cameras are great themes to collect. They are relatively inexpensive, not too rare and a good number of them were unique for their time. They also seem to stand up well to the vicissitudes of time. Welcome to The C.C. Mickey Thanks Mickey. Yeah most of them are pretty easy to get. But I like to collect a litttle bit of everything. The Univex AF series are what I've been after for a bit, but for some reason have been a little finicky to get....well mainly the colored ones.....haha. Some day. Thanks again.

Lovely. There were some beautiful plastic cameras back in the day. I definitely agree Phil.

I find it amazing that you've got the boxes and everything. Amazing. Thanks Phil. Not all of my cameras have come with their original boxes and paperwork. But I have been lucky the odd time to find them with mostly if not all of everything.

Hosted on FotkiAlright, now we're in business. Here is the larger version of the Arnold Linco Flex camera I posted. Thanks for the tip on using fotki Phil. Interesting how its not in Mckeown's but I do see a description of the TLR version of this in your image link. Most of them say KarmaFlex on the viewing hood but this one, from what I've been told with the LincoFlex inscription is a little more scarce. So that may be why. This is only the first upload and the rarest camera from my camera collection. I shall be uploading more photos soon. Derek

Looks like a special camera, handsome. Not an easy camera to find. Have you taken any Pictures With it? No, no pictures with it. Most of the cameras in my collection I don't use as often. This one especially. Just for display use.

Alright, I can see that the photo I uploaded is very small and honestly this was the smallest I could do before it would let me upload. My apologies. I'm doing this from my phone right now so I'll have to see if when I get on my desk top trying to upload a better photo.
Anyway, that's the first camera.
Cheers Derek

Alright, so I joined up here about a month ago for just another excuse to talk cameras and show off my camera collection......I'm just getting around to it now. Haha Anyway, here is the first camera mugshot from my collection. Attachment Deleted The first one I'm uploading here is one of my favorites, and from what I've learned is somewhat uncommon to come across. It's an Arnold Linco-Flex (aka. Karma-Flex 4x4 model ll). A small German pseudo TLR camera made by a guy named Karl Arnold in 1932-33. It comes from a series of cameras called Karma-Flex and it took 127 film. Should I mention that I picked this up for $29 at a local antique store...haha.

Just signed up on here after lurking around a bit. Fellow camera collector and hobby photographer. Only been collecting for a year so far and love to collect a variety of cameras from box cameras, folders, coloured cameras, Art Deco and bakelite. Along with a few SLRs too. Forty cameras so far and still expanding haha. Figure I'd check this site out. Derek Derek, Welcome from another Ontarian or does being in Toronto disqualify me? You will like it here. There is a great deal of valuable knowledge and experience in this site as well as some wackiness to lighten things a bit. You are off to a flying start and your chosen varieties will keep you airborn forever. Mickey Thanks Mickey You're not too far from me then. I'm in Sarnia, Ontario.

Good morning, Derek. (I'm in Central Italy but grew up in Buffalo). Welcome to CC. My collection covers the time between about 1890 through 1960. I look forward to seeing some of your collection. David Thanks David, My collection runs from 1906-until about the mid 60's. Don't really collect too much past 1970.
